Join us for our annual membership meeting and learn more about the great work our Caucus is doing to promote Democratic values in Leon County and the surrounding areas!

New Media Workshop and Luncheon - 12:00pm
Bluestare Network's Andy Janecek and Philter Media's Phil Perry present a new media workshop highlighting tips and best practices for utilizing social networking to increase outreach and advertising efforts.

Cost of lunch is included in event registration fee.

LGBT Community Forum - 1:00pm
Participate in an open forum with political leaders and members of the LGBT community. Features a keynote address by Congressman Allen Boyd. Panel members include:

  • Caucus President Lisa Comingore
  • Leon County Commissioner Akin Akinyemi
  • Wakulla County Commissioner Alan Brock
  • Leon County Human Relations Advisory Chair Jim VanRiper
  • Former State Representative Curtis Richardson

The community forum will be moderated by motivational speaker Yolanda Fairell.

Social Mixer - 2:00pm
Meet and greet political leaders and candidates that are running for office in 2010. Take part in your democracy!

Current and new Caucus members can attend the event at no charge. Caucus members are NOT required to pre-register and are secured a seat at the luncheon.

Registration for non-members is $10 and includes lunch, a welcome bag and access to all of the events.
